School Spirit

Building Belonging Through Our House System

We are excited to launch our new House System, a schoolwide community-building program designed to help every student feel connected, valued, and inspired. More than just a way to build school spirit, the House System creates opportunities for students to have fun, form meaningful relationships, and learn the important character traits that help them become positive members of our school and community.

Each student will belong to one of our five houses, each representing a core value we strive to embody every day:

  • IgniteProactive
  • AscendPerseverant
  • EmberResilient
  • ForgeInnovative
  • RadiantInspiring

Throughout the year, students will participate in house meetings, challenges, service opportunities, celebrations, and collaborative activities that encourage teamwork, leadership, and school pride. Friendly competition will bring excitement and fun while helping students practice the values of their house in meaningful ways. Through these experiences, students will learn what it means to be a good person—someone who takes initiative, perseveres through challenges, bounces back from setbacks, thinks creatively, and inspires others through their actions.

Our youngest learners will be an important part of this journey as well. Preschool students will begin as our Hatchlings, where they will learn about and practice the core values of all five houses. As they grow and prepare for kindergarten, they will eagerly anticipate their special House Reveal, when they officially become members of one of the five houses and begin their House System journey.

At its heart, the House System is about building a culture of community, inclusion, and belonging. By connecting students across grade levels and celebrating the strengths each individual brings, we are creating a school where everyone has a place, a purpose, and the empowerment to grow.

Together, through our shared values, we will learn, lead, inspire, and rise as one community.

Together, we rise!
