Woodbridge Elementary School, located in Woodbridge, Virginia, is excited to welcome students for the 2026-27 school year! Serving approximately 625 students in grades pre-K–5, our new school community brings together students from Potomac View, Vaughan, and Kilby elementary schools.
In partnership with the Henry Ford Learning Institute, Woodbridge Elementary is a design-thinking school focused on creating meaningful and innovative learning experiences. We look forward to welcoming students on August 24, 2026!
What is a Henry Ford Design-Thinking School?
A Design-Thinking School transforms traditional education by using a human-centered, hands-on approach to problem solving. Students learn through real-world challenges, build prototypes, and test creative solutions. This dynamic environment builds creative confidence and prepares students to become innovative leaders in their communities.

Prince William County Schools hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Woodbridge-area elementary school.
Brooke LeVecchi is appointed as the principal for the new school in Woodbridge.
The new school is officially named, Woodbridge Elementary School. Our mascot is the Phoenix and our colors are blue and orange.
